On 10 April 2026 Stadler opened a new hall in Obersiebenbrunn in the Marchfeld region for the commissioning, approval and servicing of rail vehicles. It was built on the former AGRANA site as an extension of the existing private siding and comprises a hall about 225 m long and roughly 4,600 m² in area, offices and a tent hall used for storage; construction with STRABAG took seven to eight months according to the reports. The Westbahn's high-speed trains have been maintained there since March 2026, and the facility is meant to be open to all operators of Stadler vehicles in future. The reports give no figures for the investment or for new jobs. (LOK Report, 10 Apr 2026) Update (10 April 2026): Stadler has opened its new maintenance hall in Obersiebenbrunn near Vienna.
