Stadler is expanding its US plant with a new 22,761 m² factory hall and up to 300 jobs.
On 1 July 2026 Stadler US inaugurated a new 22,761 m² factory hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, lifting production space to 44,128 m² and creating up to 300 jobs. The plant employs about 750 people, and ground was also broken for a CNC hall to machine aluminium profiles. The event marked ten years in the US and was attended by Swiss president Guy Parmelin; the report gives no investment figure (LOK Report, 3 Jul 2026).
