BW Ideol and NGE to invest €200m in Fos-sur-Mer foundation plant

Floating-wind specialist BW Ideol and NGE, France's fourth-largest construction group, announced an exclusive partnership for the Fos3F project on 23 July 2026: series production of floating concrete foundations for offshore wind on the DEOS platform at the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille in Fos-sur-Mer. According to the companies the investment is just under €200m, with output planned from 2030 at around 30 foundations (roughly 500 MW) per year. The stated figure of more than 1,300 direct jobs is a projection by the two partners.
