Seqens to close CellforCure bio-plant in Les Ulis, affecting 115 jobs

The CellforCure bioproduction site in Les Ulis (10,000 m², contract manufacturing of cell therapies), taken over by the Seqens group in 2023, will close for good for lack of customers and a buyer — by the end of September or October 2026 according to a company spokesperson; 115 employees are affected. Seqens had sought a buyer in April 2026; the cause is the collapse of the cell-therapy market since mid-2025 with cascading cancellations of biotech projects (L'Usine Nouvelle, 26 August 2026).
