France unveils €7.5bn expansion of Campus AI network to 3 gigawatts

France is building a network of AI gigafactories together with Bpifrance, Mistral, the Emirati fund MGX and Nvidia: first campus in Fouju (96 MW, opening 2028, scaling to 200 MW), plus an additional 10 MW of inference capacity in Les Ulis from Q3 2026. Strengthens Europe's AI sovereignty with decarbonized nuclear power.

Mistral receives prioritised access to the capacity; part of France's AI sovereignty strategy.
