SBB is taking a 49% stake in Helsana's occupational health subsidiary HMS and will control it jointly with Helsana; the price is confidential and closing was planned for the end of October 2026. HMS carries out about 12,000 medical examinations a year for SBB alone; the European Commission cleared the deal the same day as case M.12356 (Keystone-SDA via nau.ch, 17 September 2026).
