Pusterla 1880 to close Mayet plant, cutting 51 jobs

The Italian luxury packaging group Pusterla 1880 announced on 2 September 2026 that it will close its plant in Mayet (Sarthe department) by the end of 2026. Of the 95 permanent staff and roughly 100 temporary workers, 51 positions will be cut, while 43 employees are to be transferred to other group sites (including Cherré-Au and Oradour-sur-Glane).
