Marseille extends tram line T3 north to Capitaine Gèze

Marseille tramway Line T3 was extended 1.8 km north from Arenc to the new terminus Capitaine Gèze, inaugurated on 7 January 2026. The system is operated by RTM (Régie des Transports Métropolitains) as part of the "Le Tram" consortium with Veolia Transport. The Marseille network now comprises 3 lines with 32 stations over 19.2 km of standard-gauge track; a southern extension to La Gaye (4.4 km) opened three days later, on 10 January 2026.
