The 16 July reports became a deal: on 23 July 2026 Dassault Systèmes announced via press release a definitive agreement to acquire ArisGlobal — US$1.8bn in cash at closing plus up to US$200m contingent on multi-year AI-related revenue milestones. ArisGlobal runs an AI-native compliance platform for the life sciences industry with more than 200 customers (including half of the top 50 global biopharma companies), processes more than 12 million patient safety reports a year and employs over 1,300 people; 2026 revenue is projected at US$175m. Closing is expected in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals. It is the group's second-largest acquisition after Medidata (2019).
