Ubisoft plans to cut up to 200 jobs at Ubisoft Paris (~18% of the workforce there). The cuts will be made via a Rupture Conventionnelle Collective – a French instrument for voluntary, mutually agreed staff reductions based on negotiations with unions. Affected: exclusively Ubisoft International employees with a French employment contract. Parallel measures: further cost reductions, a realignment of the French headquarters towards corporate management, strategic prioritisation and capital allocation. Ubisoft Paris was founded in 1992. The final decision will be made after agreement and approval by the French authorities.
