On 2 July 2026 the board of Île-de-France Mobilités approved the technical dossier and the start of the consultation phase for extending the fully automatic Metro line 1 eastwards: over 5 km, three new stations are to improve links to Vincennes, Fontenay-sous-Bois and Montreuil, and the cost is about EUR 1.7 billion excluding VAT and rolling stock (January 2026 prices). The project is anchored in the regional master plan SDRIF-E and the studies are being revised; from autumn 2026 residents, elected officials and associations will be asked about the variants in a preliminary consultation accompanied by the National Commission for Public Debate (CNDP). On the same day the board also approved the design concept for extending tram T10 to Clamart (about EUR 730 million) and a second funding agreement of about EUR 100 million for the T7 extension to Juvisy-sur-Orge; the EVE bus line (EUR 124 million) goes into consultation in autumn 2026. The date is a placeholder: the article gives only the year 2040 for commissioning. (LOK Report, 24 Jul 2026; second source: CNews, 21 Sep 2026)
