Lyon extends tram line T6 to the La Doua campus

Lyon tramway Line T6 was extended on 14 February 2026 from its former terminus Hôpitaux Est–Pinel by 5.4 kilometres to a new terminus at La Doua–Gaston Berger, serving the university campus in Villeurbanne. The extension adds 10 new stations (including Gare de Villeurbanne, Gratte-Ciel and Hôtel de Ville–TNP) and creates interchanges with lines T1, T3, T4 and the future line T9.
