The new owner Quantum Investment Holding, which acquired Hervis from its Austrian owners in January 2026, is focusing on its home market Austria and has sold the subsidiaries in Germany, Slovenia and Croatia. After a review of operations, all 21 stores in Slovenia are to close by the end of July 2026, with about 250 employees losing their jobs; the source cites changing shopping habits.
