Preis Sevnica invests €32m in new factory

The maker of housings for power transformers in Sevnica (420 employees) plans to raise annual capacity by 60% from 5,100 to 8,000 tonnes by the end of 2029; the plant's management (Zvonko Vranič) says the supervisory board approved a €32m investment in the new factory last week. Two new halls are already built, three more buildings follow by 2029, and the last equipment is installed in 2030; the report names no new jobs (Izvozniki.si/Finance, 9 Oct 2026).
