Sodexo to cut 1,097 jobs in France by 2027

Catering and facility-services group Sodexo announced on 26 August 2026 the elimination of 1,097 jobs in France by 2027: 963 at the French subsidiary Sodexo France (around 4% of its 25,000 employees) and 134 at the group headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux. A phase of voluntary departures is planned first, followed by a job protection plan (PSE); consultation of employee representatives began the same day.
