Arval, BNP Paribas's leasing arm, definitively completed its acquisition of Dutch fleet manager Athlon on 31 July 2026, two days after the European Commission cleared it on 29 July 2026. The combined fleet grows from around 1.9 million to 2.3 million vehicles, so Athlon contributes roughly 400,000. No purchase price was disclosed.
