IDKIDS cuts 244 jobs and closes 57 stores in France

The Lille Métropole commercial court approved the continuation plan of the northern French IDKIDS group; on Tuesday 28 July 2026 Okaïdi announced its exit from redressement judiciaire after six months. The plan involves cutting 244 jobs and closing 57 stores in France. Abroad, the group withdrew entirely from Poland (25 stores), Germany (17 stores) and Portugal (2 stores). The proceedings opened in February 2026 covered the brands Obaïbi (ages 0–3), Okaïdi (3–14) and Oxybul as well as the IDLOG logistics platform, together employing around 2,000 people in France (source: AFP via Boursorama).
