Bosch is winding down its Engineering Center in Sofia in phases, cutting about 670 jobs; about 400 employees are affected this year, the rest by 2027, and the closure is to be completed by mid-2027. The head of Robert Bosch EOOD in Bulgaria cites the deep transformation of the car industry, falling production volumes and delayed adoption of new technologies (Novinite, July 2026).
