Bosch plans to cut around 900 jobs by the end of 2029 at its Nuremberg plant, which makes parts for combustion engines and fuel-cell technology — roughly half the workforce. The company cites falling sales and the shrinking share of combustion engines, Chinese competition, production costs above market prices and a European hydrogen market lagging behind expectations; talks with employee representatives are to follow (Stuttgarter Nachrichten, 28.09.2026).
