Bosch is closing its plant in Bernolákovo, Slovakia, where its Mobility Aftermarket division currently employs 148 people, and relocating alternator remanufacturing to Pećinci in Serbia. Production is to be phased out by the end of March 2027, after which the site will close. Bosch cites cost pressure in labour-intensive alternator remanufacturing and the consolidation of smaller sites (Pravda/TASR, 16.09.2026).
