Bulmarket invests €60m in wagon and locomotive works in Ruse

Bulmarket Group is reviving the locomotive and wagon works in Ruse, closed in 2013, on a 176,000 m² site and investing €60m, of which €17m comes from Bulgaria's recovery plan. Seven companies with over 210 employees already operate on site; the LVZ 1866 works is to repair or build more than 1,000 freight wagons and 200 locomotives a year, with tank wagon production starting at five vehicles and rising to 20 a month.
