The UK Competition and Markets Authority had been reviewing Danone Holdings (UK)'s planned acquisition of British nutrition brand Huel (meal-replacement products) since 27 May 2026, launched a formal phase 1 investigation on 15 July 2026 and cleared the deal unconditionally on 20 August 2026 (full decision published 25 August 2026). The purchase price was not disclosed.
