The line crossed the Erdre river for the first time (via the existing Jonelière bridge, shared with the tram-train) and the Nantes ring road (périphérique) on a newly built twin-track bridge; the terminus also gained a new technical operations centre (Cetex) and a multimodal interchange with bus, tram-train and (from autumn 2025) a park-and-ride with 450 car and 103 bicycle spaces. The associated overall project (linking Line 1/Line 2 via Babinière) is costed at roughly EUR 173.8 million, co-financed by the EU, the French State and the Loire-Atlantique department, among others.
