bp is selling its Austrian filling-station and EV-charging business with around 250 sites (about 115 of them company-owned) to Switzerland's volenergy AG, part of the Volare group; the purchase price was not disclosed. The bp brand will remain at the stations under a licence agreement. Completion is expected by the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. The sale follows bp's exits from fuel retail in the Netherlands (2025), Turkey (2024) and Switzerland (2022).
