The British cancer research charity announces the closure of around 90 stores by May 2026. Reason: spiraling running costs and changing consumer behavior. Outlook: by April 2027, up to 100 further stores could close, which would reduce the estate to around 320 stores. However, there are plans to open 12 'superstores' on retail space by 2028.
