Hexagon has closed its purchase of the inspection specialist Waygate Technologies from Baker Hughes. Waygate supplies radiography, CT, ultrasonic and remote visual inspection, employs about 1,500 people at 25 sites and had sales of roughly US$630m in 2025; it is consolidated from 1 November 2026, and Hexagon expects transaction and integration costs of about €50m.
