Civo plans 40 edge data centres across the UK

UK cloud provider Civo plans to build 40 distributed edge data centres across the UK within three years, totalling around 1 GW and geared to AI inference rather than training. The first site, in Hertfordshire (8 MW, expandable to 38 MW), is due to open in 2027, and five more sites with 150 MW are secured; Civo gave no investment figure or job numbers (The Tech Capital, 22.09.2026).
