During a full closure from 14 June to 14 October 2026 the main tasks are renovating the chain of bridges, making Nendeln station step-free and renewing track, overhead line, signalling and level crossings; Altenstadt and Gisingen are expected to follow in 2028/29 (EUR 4.79 million and EUR 4.42 million). The date is a placeholder: ÖBB gives only summer 2027 for overall completion (LOK Report, 22 Jan and 29 May 2026).
