East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm is operational

East Anglia ONE is an offshore wind farm in the North Sea off the East Anglia coast (England) with an installed capacity of 714 MW from 102 direct-drive Siemens turbines (7 MW each). It is operated by ScottishPower Renewables (60%) together with Bilbao Offshore Holding (40%, part of the Iberdrola group); investment is stated at around GBP 2.5 billion. The wind farm was commissioned in July 2020 and is part of the planned East Anglia Zone, targeting up to 7,200 MW total capacity.
