The wind farm is located in the North Sea off Kent (near Herne Bay/Whitstable) and began operating in 2005 with 30 Vestas V90-3MW turbines (90 MW) under operator Vattenfall. A 2015 extension added 15 Vestas V112-3.3MW turbines (49.5 MW), bringing total capacity to about 139.5 MW. The farm remains operational, operated by Vattenfall.
