The new high-speed line connects Castejón (junction with the Zaragoza–Logroño line) via Villafranca, Olite and Tafalla to Campanas near Pamplona, linking Navarre to the Cantabrian–Mediterranean Corridor. Two of four construction sections are finished (Castejón–Villafranca, Villafranca–Olite), while Olite–Tafalla and Tafalla–Campanas are currently under construction (electrification, track laying); per Spanish Wikipedia this final section is expected to be completed in 2027. The upstream Zaragoza–Castejón section is still at an early planning stage, so the full Zaragoza–Pamplona connection remains years away.
