On 3 September 2026 the regional government of Castile and León declared biscuit maker Galletas Gullón's investment project in Aguilar de Campoo a priority industrial project: construction of an automated logistics platform (38 m high-bay silo with 37,400 pallet spaces) and expanded production. Investment volume EUR 196.3 million through 2030, 140 new direct jobs; over 600 indirect jobs are also expected among more than 1,800 regional suppliers (Europa Press/Infobae, 3 September 2026).
