Tallinn Airport starts €75m expansion to double capacity

Tallinn Airport starts its largest-ever investment: the terminal grows by about 16,500 m² of new space and 18,000 m² of renovation to a total of 52,500 m², annual capacity rises from 2.8 to up to 5.5 million passengers, and the baggage system gets five belts instead of three. Construction runs from 2026 to 2028 in four phases, the first of which began at the end of 2025; 31 Dec 2028 marks the end of the construction phases and is a placeholder.
