Estonia's largest agricultural group Agrone closed the purchase of 100% of Food Union Management on 30 October 2026. The holding controls majority stakes in Rīgas piena kombināts and Valmieras piens. The seller is Food Union Luxembourg Holdings II, both Estonian and Latvian competition authorities cleared the deal and SEB provided financing. The price was not disclosed, and operations and brands are initially unchanged (ERR News, 31 October 2026).
