Moldova raises gas reserve target for Transnistria to 136m m³

- On 1 Sep 2026 Moldova's energy regulator ANRE raises the gas reserve target for the heating season in Transnistria from 53.7 to 135.972 million m³
The reserve must be built up by 1 Nov 2026; ANRE also confirms a reserve target of 140.36 million m³ for the right bank of the Dniester
The target is based on average annual consumption by end customers in Transnistria over the last five years, excluding consumption for power exports from the region. Moldovagaz, in which Gazprom holds 63%, remains the supplier until 31 Dec 2026 (Interfax, 2 Sep 2026).
