EU disburses €157m to Moldova under the Growth Plan

- On 05.10.2026, at the tenth EU–Moldova Association Council, the European Commission pays out the third tranche of €157m under the Growth Plan for the Republic of Moldova.
The payment follows a positive assessment of 18 completed reforms; Moldova has now received €661m under the plan.
The €1.9bn Growth Plan proposed in 2024, with a Reform and Growth Facility for 2025 to 2027, is the EU's largest financial package for the candidate country; the completed reforms cover all seven areas of the plan, from the private sector and energy to good governance (European Commission, 05.10.2026).
