Moldovan EuroChem subsidiary Agrocenter enters bankruptcy

On 14 Jul 2026 a court in Chișinău opened bankruptcy proceedings against Agrocenter EuroChem at the request of the Central Customs Bureau, joined by other creditors; until recently it was one of the country's main fertiliser importers. The company belongs to the EuroChem group of the sanctioned Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko and had annual revenue of 300 to 600 million lei in 2018-2024; the source does not give the number of employees (Logos Press, 25 Jul 2026).
