Rhyl Flats wind farm off North Wales with 90 MW is operational

The Rhyl Flats offshore wind farm is located in Liverpool Bay about 8 km northeast of Llandudno off the North Wales coast. It comprises 25 Siemens SWT-107-3.6 turbines with a total installed capacity of 90 MW and was officially opened on 2 December 2009. The operator is RWE (50.1%) together with Green Investment Group and Greencoat UK Wind (24.95% each).
