Taiwanese industrial computer maker ENNOCONN published a mandatory offer of EUR 23.50 per share to shareholders of Linz-based IoT and embedded computing group Kontron on 29 June 2026, after crossing the 30% voting rights threshold. On 8 July 2026 Kontron's management and supervisory boards issued a joint reasoned statement recommending shareholders reject the offer: the price is not financially adequate, contains no premium and falls well short of analyst price targets (averaging EUR 30.29). The acceptance period ended on 27 July 2026; completion is subject to merger control clearances in Germany and the US and foreign investment clearances in Germany, France, Austria and Taiwan. Added retrospectively: the transaction had not previously been tracked.
