Kontron starts 5G module production in Düsseldorf

Kontron has officially started a new production line at its Düsseldorf site for 5G automotive modules (NADs) and industrial 5G M.2 communication modules, including for FRMCS rail applications. According to the company, the goal is to reduce dependence on non-European module manufacturers; the investment amount and job figures were not specified.
