Charterhouse is in exclusive talks to take a majority of Batibig, a French building maintenance provider with more than 2,000 staff and over €500m of revenue; the founders remain invested and no price was given (Freshfields, 22 July 2026). Update (2 September 2026): the European Commission cleared the deal as case M.12563 (European Commission, Daily News, 2 September 2026).
