Hennig to build power-systems plant in Figueira da Foz, 452 jobs

German manufacturer Hennig (part of the US Goellner group) is building a new plant in the Pincho industrial zone in Figueira da Foz for power supply and backup power systems ('power protection') for data centres, hospitals and other critical infrastructure. The investment totals €51m, including €7.7m of state support via the investment agency AICEP; 452 jobs are planned and production is scheduled to start in January 2028.
