Rampion wind farm in the Channel off Sussex with 400 MW is operational

Rampion Wind Farm sits in the English Channel 13-25 km off the Sussex coast and comprises 116 MHI Vestas V112-3.45 MW turbines with a total installed capacity of 400 MW. It is operated by RWE, with Enbridge and Green Investment Group as co-owners; construction started in 2015 and the total investment was about GBP 1.3 billion. The farm was officially commissioned in April 2018 and is the first offshore wind farm on England's south coast.
