Media Press Group completes takeover of InfoPortugal's EPG unit

European entertainment-metadata provider Media Press Group completed on 17 September 2026 the acquisition of the electronic programme guide (EPG) and content-discovery business of InfoPortugal, a company of the Impresa group, becoming by its own account the largest TV metadata provider in Portugal. The price was not disclosed; the move follows the purchase of Spanish provider MediaData TV and is part of the group's expansion in the Iberian Peninsula and Portuguese-speaking markets (Jornal Económico, 17 September 2026).
