Catalan industrial laundry equipment maker Girbau has agreed to buy 100% of Germany's Fintec Textilpflegesysteme, which develops garment finishing, folding, sorting and transport systems. The acquisition takes effect on 1 January 2027, Fintec continues with the same team and the two firms have worked together for 20 years; the report gives no price (Expansión, 21 Oct 2026).
