The machine tool and metalworking technology maker Kauno staklės, active for 30 years, intends to dismiss all 126 employees because of insolvency, including 15 fitters, 13 welders and six programming engineers; the notice reached the employment service on 22 Jul 2026. Sales fell 8.5% to €5.18m in 2025 and the net loss was €330,970 (LRT, 30 Jul 2026).
