Italian pharmaceutical company Alfasigma signed a share purchase agreement with SEVER Life Sciences B.V. on 11 August 2026 for all shares in Netherlands-based Nordic Group B.V. (Nordic Pharma). Nordic Pharma has direct operations in 18 European countries as well as Canada and Japan, employs 265 people and generated around €190m in revenue in 2025; the main asset is its rheumatoid arthritis business around the methotrexate brand Nordimet, which complements Alfasigma's rheumatology portfolio (Jyseleca). Financial terms were not disclosed.
