Škoda JS to supply control-rod drives for Rolls-Royce SMR

Škoda JS and Rolls-Royce SMR agree on exclusive development and supply of control-rod drives for the small reactors, first as a prototype and then in series preparation. Industry Minister Havlíček put the value at about CZK 1bn per contract, with follow-on orders expected to be larger; the first Czech SMR is planned for Temelín in the mid-2030s (oEnergetice, 23 Sep 2026).
