Since 31 August 2025, Pendolino trains have run in regular service at up to 200 km/h (previously 160 km/h) on the Votice–Sudoměřice u Tábora and Doubí–Soběslav sections of the Prague–České Budějovice line (services IC 591/590) — a first for Czech railways. This is enabled by the trains' tilting technology combined with upgraded track infrastructure. Journey time between Prague and České Budějovice is cut to about 95 minutes, down from roughly 100 minutes.
