Deutsche Bank and Postbank to close around 100 branches

Deutsche Bank and Postbank will close around 100 branches out of an original roughly 750 sites by the end of 2026. The aim is to realign branches toward advice on complex topics such as real estate financing and investment, while standard tasks are increasingly handled digitally. In parallel: staff reductions in the retail banking business through not filling vacant positions.
